  5. GenaCell extends the vector functionally of GenaMap to include support for
  6. raster and cell data types. Cell maps contain values arranged in a square or
  7. rectangular grid, and can be displayed and analysed in various ways. The
  8. ability to seamlessly combine and analyse both vector and raster data types
  9. together provides the maximum flexibility for the user. GenaCell uses exactly
  10. the same interfaces and command structures as Genamap and can be accessed from
  11. within GenaMap with no need to move between modules. Key GenaCell features
  12. include: spacial modelling including reclassification, overlay, neighbourhood
  13. analysis; continuous 3D surface generation from vector contours; high-speed
  14. viewing of cell and TIFF data types; visibility analysis; hill shading and
  15. slope aspect algorithms; seamless integration with GenaMap's vector
  16. functionality; adaptive command interface providing context testing for
